Xbox 360

Smaller, cooler and more power efficient, with increased hard disk storage as standar. What's not to like about the new Xbox 360 Slim?

A 250GB hard disk is the new standard in the Slim, and it's mounted internally. You still can't swap in your own drives as you can on the PS3, and old 360 drives don't work in the new system. You'll need a transfer cable to port across your content if you want to keep your game saves and Xbox Live Arcade titles.

The colossal, dull roar of the Xbox 360's 12x DVD drive has been quietened to a murmur thanks to a new unit from long-term Microsoft hardware partner Liteon. It's a huge improvement over the original model, roughly equivalent in volume to the PS3's Blu-ray drive.

A couple of inches shorter than the lauch model and not as wide, the new 360 is still around the same depth. It now has five USB ports(up from three on the old system), along with touch-sensitive power and eject buttons and, for the first time, built-in Wi-Fi with support for the new, faster "N" standard.

The twin 70mm fans in the old Xbox 360 have given way to a single 120mm fan in the new model that's eerily quite. The graphics chip and CPU are now just one chip,so they're easier to cool and more power-efficient Best of all, this 360 uses less than half the electricity of the model that launched in 2005.

You can buy Xbox 360 Slim in market at a Price of Rs 21,990.
