HP dv6 Pavilion Notebook

The dv6-6170us seems strong, with a bare brushed aluminum chassis that we have seen in recent Pavilion models. While other models have used strong colors to differentiate the appearance of the iconic Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch (Thunderbolt) ($ 2,199 direct, 4 stars), the dv6-6170us kissing naked, unvarnished look. Instead of smooth surfaces, Pavilion dv6-6170us model a rough brush that looks like wood grain. The unpainted aluminum is colored steel gray, and cover the lid and palm rest.

The aluminum construction is sturdy, no flexing of the structure with the design was based on the plastic. 14.9 by 1.4 by 9.7 inches (DRC) and weighs 5.66 pounds, is not the lightest 15-inch laptop on the market, winning the Dell XPS 15z ($ 1,534 direct, 4 stars ) Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch (5.5 pounds) and are less than an inch thick. The cover is slightly shaped lip along the hinge that allows a secure grip when carrying the laptop closed. The doll is also on and bent down to offer a typing experience more comfortable.
The dv6-6170us has a Chiclet keyboard with square keys matte finish. A keypad is a boon to adjacent number crunchers, but you get no backlight is visible on Dell XPS 15z. The multitouch trackpad is smooth and responsive, and HP dropped the glitchy ClickPad located on the models of last year. The two separate buttons right mouse and left click easy, but was not as sweet as those found on the XPS 15z.

The dv6-6170us Beats is equipped with audio, a sound enhancement package provided by HP will "studio-quality sound." The combination of hardware and software has made offer excellent sound while mixing music with Pandora. It is produced in lighter shades and lower if the bass was a bit anemic compared to notebooks with a subwoofer.

The sport 15.6-inch widescreen display for only 768 1366. Compared to desktop replacements, such as high-end Dell XPS 1920 15z offers a resolution of 1080, but this corner is one of the few HP down to make this well-equipped phones are more affordable. The dv6-6170us screen enables you to watch movies in 720p, but will not be able to enjoy the 1080p image available. This is unfortunate, since the Blu-ray system. You'll need to connect to an HDTV with either an HDMI or WIDI 2.0, Intel wireless streaming alternative to the HDMI input, which may extend to any TV as it is equipped with a receiver Netgear Push2TV, a $ 99 option.

ITG Announced First Windows 8 smartphone named as "XPPhone 2"

Last year around this time, ITG released its first xpPhone. That phone ran Windows Embedded Standard 2009, but this time, the company has decided to step it up a bit. The xpPhone 2 will run Windows 7 (at first) and will be upgradable to Windows 8 whenever it's released.

The second iteration of ITG's UMPC/smartphone hybrid has some pretty decent specs, especially in comparison to the Fujitsu LOOX F-07C that I reviewed last week. For starters, the new xpPhone will sport a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, 2GB of RAM, and up to 112GB of SSD storage space. All of those specs are wrapped nicely under a 4.3-inch display in a body that is slimmer than the original.

Like with most awesome pieces of hardware like this, we haven't heard anything about pricing or exact release dates; it'll simply be sometime in January. As for price, I'd say to expect it to be somewhere around the range of the previous device: $750-$850 sounds plausible to me.

The F-07C was a pretty good UMPC, even with its lower specs. I predicted that there might be some awesome devices coming because of Windows 8, and since the new xpPhone has better specs, I think that prediction might just come true.

ITG is also planning on offering Windows 7 on the xpPhone 2; depending on the timing of the phone's release, as well as when Microsoft finishes-up work on Windows 8, perhaps we'll see the xpPhone 2 first arrive running Windows 7, with an upgrade later available. There's no word yet on price, but this one feels like it's not going to be cheap.

Nintendo's sold over 50 million DS units in the US

Nintendo's twin-screen wonder has seen almost as many reinventions as Lady Gaga, so it may not come as a huge shock to hear that the DS (in all its guises) has now sold over 50 million units in the US. The home entertainment maestros are still chasing similar success for its three-dimensional sibling, the 3DS, however. Nintendo has managed to sell almost half a million three dee units units after its weighty price cut, but there's now some very potent competitors seeking their own slice of the (portable) gaming pie. Apple iPhone 4S in market today

After iPhone 4S announcement, many analysts and technology bloggers got themselves in a lather about a completely new iPhone with a bigger screen. They were disappointed that this year's model looks exactly the same.

It might look the same but the iPhone 4S is significantly faster than its predecessor, with a new camera and - this year's most attention-grabbing feature - a clever voice control service called Siri. In hindsight, this year's upgrade makes sense: it mirrors the 2009 upgrade from iPhone 3G to iPhone 3GS.

The iPhone 4S’ physical design is just the same as the original iPhone 4, but it got an all-new internals which include Apple’s new ARM-based A5 chip which packs a dual-core GPU as well as a dual-core Cortex A9 CPU at 1GHz. Apple says the dual-core GPU on A5 chipset simply means the graphics on iPhone 4S can be up to 7 times faster than the previous iPhone. Of course with the upgraded chipset, the iPhone 4S is expected to utilize more power than the previous iPhone – however, Apple says it has also worked out on the handset’s battery so it can now offer up to 8 hours talk time on 3G, up to 14 hours on 2G (GSM), 6 hours of 3G browsing, 9 hours of Wi-Fi browsing, 10 hours of video playback, 40 hours worth of music, or up to 200 hours standby time. Not bad, huh? The Cupertino tech giant has also made a significant overhaul on the iPhone 4 original antenna, so the iPhone 4S will have one which can intelligently switch between different sets of antennas for even better call quality as well as to avoid dropping of calls. There’s also a higher resolution camera at 3264 x 2448 with an 8MP sensor. Another improvement on the new iPhone 4S is the 3G radio which Apple says can offer up to 14.4Mbps downlink and up to 5.8Mbps uplink. Unlike the iPhone 4 at first launch, the iPhone 4S will be available both in GSM and CDMA flavors.

iPhone 4S Specification

iOS 5

Rotatable Twin Touch Display Phone

Finally, there’s a rotatable twin touch display mobile phone design. Using this gadget, you can hold the phone the way you like it, it won’t block your views with your fingers while browsing or gaming. This phone has been designed with two touch screens where one is used for viewing and basic operations of a smartphone such as checking mails, browsing, access mobile apps while the other screen is used for typing or gaming. We think the use of the second screen to display difference key controls based on what the user’s need is more practical compared to modular hardware components that Microsoft just patented.

Designer : Abhi Muktheeswarar

You can slide the top panel in different directions: slide up, slide down, or slide both sideways. It is also rotatable for complete freedom of holding your phone. The base touch panel can be configured as portrait or QWERTY keyboard & as a joystick while playing games.
